CYBERTEC is looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Administrator to join our dynamic IT team in Wöllersdorf (NÖ). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in networking, Linux systems administration, virtualization, and ticket system management. As an Infrastructure Support Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
Your tasks & responsibilities
Networking
- Configure and troubleshoot VPN setups to provide secure and efficient remote access.
- Resolve network issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Proficient in VLAN configuration for optimal network segmentation.
- Knowledge and experience with Wireguard for secure communication.
Operating Systems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux-based operating systems.
- Ensure the stability and security of Linux servers within the infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain best practices for Linux system administration.
Virtualization
- Administer and set up Proxmox and other hypervisors.
- Optimize virtualization infrastructure for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualized environments.
Ticket System Management
- Administer Jira ticketing system to efficiently manage IT requests and incidents.
- Ensure timely response and resolution of support tickets.
- Provide end-users with guidance on ticket submission and updates.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Support Administrator or similar role.
- Strong background in networking, Linux administration, and virtualization.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of VPN technologies, network troubleshooting, VLANs, and Wireguard.
- Proficiency in Linux installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Proxmox or other hypervisors.
- Familiarity with Jira administration and working knowledge of ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to share knowledge and contribute to the team’s success.

We are searching for a full-time employee for our headquarter Wöllersdorf . Salary will be determined based on professional experience; the formal minimum monthly salary according to collective agreement.
