Participation in the giveaway is free of charge. All persons who are fully competent and at least 18 years old at the time of participation are entitled to participate. No prizes will be distributed to minors who nevertheless participate. Individuals working for CYBERTEC as well as all persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition are excluded from participation.
CYBERTEC is entitled to exclude single individuals from participation, if there are legitimate reasons, such as violation of the conditions of participation, (attempted) manipulation, etc., and reserves the right to take legal action. If the prerequisites for exclusion are met, prizes can also be subsequently withdrawn or reclaimed. The exclusion in case of justified reasons does not result in any claims of the participants against CYBERTEC.
The prize is a copy of the book “Mastering PostgreSQL 13”. The prize will be raffled among all persons who are followers of http://www.twitter.com/PostgresSupport by December 13, 2020. Later followers will not be considered. CYBERTEC is not liable for the late incoming of a follow and can especially not be held responsible for technical disturbances, e.g. for failures of the telephone network, the network, the electronics or the computers.
The winner will be randomly selected. The selection will be made within seven days after the end of the competition. The winner will be notified by CYBERTEC via private message on Twitter. The winner has to provide CYBERTEC with the necessary data (full name and address) to enable CYBERTEC to hand over the prize. The winner is responsible for the correctness of the given contact data. The data will only be used to process the giveaway. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to the processing of his data in this way.
If the winner does not contact CYBERTEC within seven days, does not accept the prize or does not provide all the necessary data, the prize will be raffled off again and the original winner’s claim will be forfeit.
CYBERTEC is not liable for the late receipt of the prize by the winner or for the loss of the prize caused by the postal service. The prizes cannot be redeemed for money.
CYBERTEC reserves the right to cancel or terminate the giveaway at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons, especially if this is necessary due to technical or legal reasons.
Twitter is not associated with this competition. There are no legal claims against Twitter.
